Students Summer 2015 Programs: Summer Aquatics
Brockton Community Schools offers swimming lessons to the beginner with little or no experience in the water. We also offer more advanced instruction for those ready to master the four competitive strokes as they increase their endurance. Our goal is that each child enrolled in our program will learn to swim safely and enjoy the water. We hope each child will become accomplished enough to join a competitive swim team and use swimming as a lifetime fitness sport. This program is offered to students entering grades 1-8. Note—Shallow end is 3 1/2 feet deep. No experience necessary. Let go of your fear and leave that belly flop behind! This course will help students entering grades 1 - 8 learn the basics of the competitive dive while mastering the skills necessary to execute graceful springboard front and back dives in various competitive positions such as tuck and pike. Each student should bring a bathing suit, towel, and sneakers. Goggles and bathing caps are optional. Junior Boxer Camp will run daily from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm. - Arts and Crafts
